Children & young people should have at least 60 minutes a day of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity.
Regular activity supports brain and heart development, bone strength, muscle control, balance and coordination, and helps to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Being active can improve sleep patterns, mental health, concentration, self-esteem and confidence.
